This forum platform will only work if it's quick and EASY to access (like Sawyer's Mom). For me, and others, I know that means being notified when something happens on the forum rather than having to just randomly check it throughout the day. Notifications keep us in a loop and part of a community. That was one of the good things about the Facebook Group.
Tapatalk has notifications. But if you want to get email notifications instead, YOU CAN.
You can choose what to be notified about and you can choose the following. It's all there in your profile settings.
Smart
Instant
Daily
Weekly
